Casey Anthony is Playtex's New Spokewoman

HanesBrands choice for the Playtex line’s new brand ambassador might be a bit controversial: Casey Anthony is endorsing Playtex.


Perry R. Beadon, Senior Vice President of Global Sales said “Playtex recognizes that no woman is perfect, but unique and magnificent in their own way and the expression of individuality is as important to Playtex as it is to our customers.”


Anthony, who was found not guilty of murdering her two-year-old daughter in January of 2013 said, “I think I represent today’s modern woman. I’m independent and self-assured, but I’m also flawed and, just like every woman, I’ve made some mistakes.”

The new “Flawed Perfection” ad campaign will be released in early 2015 across a variety of mediums including T.V., print, in-store and online. Playtex also plans to get social media savvy with the campaign, and plans to debut sneak peeks of their new products exclusively to their Facebook fans and Twitter followers.
